Music these are busy times for Dana Winner. After six sold-out christmas concerts she flew this weekend to South Africa, where she was a guest at a special christmas show for no less than 7,000 people. To the people at home what to keep decided Dana to her South African adventure in a videovlog. Today part 1: the journey to South Africa.

The Limburg singer was quite nervous before the gig, since they last week with voice problems (by a cold) now. “After the concert in Beveren last week, I had literally five days with no voice,” says Dana. “Can’t sing, however, was not an option, because there were two concerts on the agenda in Oudenbosch, the Netherlands, and in my hometown of Groans”.

After the last gig Friday night, she left Saturday morning all in the direction of South Africa, her ‘home away from home’. Dana is there for 20 years carried on hands. “This time, however, a flitsbezoek because we land at 7 am in the morning and there is already a sound check in Sun Arena scheduled to 9 hours,” let Dana know us for her departure.

Next year, Dana Winner 30 years on the stage, and that celebrates them with a concert on Saturday 9th of november 2019 in the Lotto Arena. South Africa will therefore already a good preparation.
