A 42-year-old man was this morning found guilty of two rapes committed by 10-year intervals in 2008 and 2018, and now he has got his punishment.
A jury at the court of Elsinore has just sentenced the 42-year-old Stefan Bjerregaard Sørensen five years and six months in prison.
Judge Mette Frimodt Hansen said that the court had found no mitigating circumstances. There were nine votes to five and a half years in prison and three votes to six years in prison.
Stefan Bjerregaard Sørensen, who is trained as kloakmester, appealed against on the ground of acquittal – in the alternative, the appeasement of the sentence. He will pay the two victims, respectively, 50,000 and 100.500 kr. in the tort.
senior prosecutor Bente Schnack required in its procedure six years in prison for the 42-year-old, while his lawyer Peter Japan claimed a maximum of four years in prison.
Bente Schnack says she is extremely pleased with the judgment: – There has been a nice exploration, where we have made use of all the tools the police have available, and the justice did justice to the last.
First, under the nævningesagen came the 42-year-old with an explanation about the rapes. Neither in grundlovsforhøret after the arrest of the 21. June of this year or during the police investigation, he has wanted to speak out.
In court, he argued that both women became involved voluntarily with him after the random meetings, and that it was therefore, his dna was found in saliva and semen on the victims. He claimed that the 33-year-old came to him and said that she had ‘a fantasy’ and asked if he would with her into the forest.
A unanimous jury rejected completely his explanation as untrustworthy, and the court relied instead emphasis on the victims ‘ explanations, which the court found credible, coherent and detailed.
The first rape happened the 27. april 2008 by a path on the Søsumvej in Søsum. It is apparent from the court’s written skyldkendelse that the 17-year-old girl was grabbed from behind and that the man put his hand over her mouth and said it was the worst for her even if she screamed.
He said there would be ’the ugly things’, if she looked at him. He pushed her into a clump of bushes, laid her down and pulled the cloth from her. So exposed her to various forms of sexual violence, including a ‘blowjob’. Before the 17-year-old was allowed to go, he stole her money, debit and insurance card. The girl ran home to her parents, who sounded the alarm to the police.
The next rape happened 17. may this year, where a 33-year-old woman went in the Hornbæk Plantation, when a man grabbed her from behind. He held, according to the court skyldkendelse, his left hand tightly on her mouth and the other arm around her and pushed her into the forest. He ordered her down on her knees and pulled her pants and panties down.
He said several times that it would be even worse, if she did not do as he said. He exposed her to various forms of sexual abuse and sexual intercourse. The 42-year-old was at work in the woods, where he was to dig the pipe down, and the victim of the rape explained, among other things, that he had dirty hands.
the Court also emphasized that the 33-year-old woman by the medical examination at the Forensic Institute had abrasions, lacerations and underhudsblødninger.
In court, it emerged – against the defender’s protest that the 42-year-old in 1996 and 1999, was convicted in cases involving a sexual assault on a six-year-old girl on a toilet and to have knocked down a woman pounding in a hedge and held her to his mouth. The judgments were at the time of 60 days imprisonment and 40-day booklet.
