Clément Noël slowed down by… weather conditions. The Frenchman had set the best time in the slalom in Bansko (Bulgaria) this Sunday but the race was stopped. Noël was ahead of the Norwegians Timon Haugan (0”27) and Henrik Kristoffersen (0”38). 31 runners had already completed their passages but the organization finally took 30 minutes before closing the track. Rain, salty snow and lack of visibility ultimately caused the slalom to be canceled.

“Race canceled due to heavy rain in Bansko. Unfortunately, the weather was not very cooperative today, but safety comes first,” wrote the FIS on its X account (formerly Twitter).
