Complicated start to the week for Ile-de-France transport users. This Monday morning, traffic is interrupted on the RER A: no train runs between La Défense and Auber, said the RATP, following an “incident affecting the track at Charles de Gaulle-Etoile”. The resumption of traffic is expected around 10 a.m. “Substitute buses” are set up on this section, and the Ile-de-France authority invites users to also favor line 1 of the metro. “The interruption is good in both directions,” the company also specifies.

Traffic has been disrupted on the entire line since around 5:45 a.m., due to “very exceptional bad weather”, confirmed the Minister Delegate for Transport, Clément Beaune, on Europe 1, Monday morning. Incidents on the tracks could multiply, in the face of “high heat, severe weather”, he added. Frequent accidents, arrival of the Olympic Games next summer… The Minister also promised urgent action on “the rails which are cracking, which are too old to withstand the high heat”, and, in the long term “the opening of more robust lines”.
