Thirty contestants face off in duels. The final goal is to win the final pot in Japanese billiards. There are fourteen holes with gifts and money. This is the formula for ‘You’ve touched’ (Monday through Friday, 7:50 pm), an adaptation of a French contest which will be broadcast on TVE during the summer months. Raul Gomez (actor and comedian) will be the host of the format. He has previously toured the globe in the comedy ‘Maraton man.

How would you define “It touched”?

It is a contest that combines many elements. One of the most popular is Japanese billiards. Contestants have the chance to win cash and other prizes. On the final roll, the pot is revealed with one hole in the billiards. This program combines skill, chance, and knowledge. The participants are the same. It is the audience that is playing, and it creates a sense of familiarity.

-So, you can be like a family on TV.

It is an amazing casting made up of thirty people who are open to having a great time and willing to help. People of all ages are welcome. Each profile we offer will make it easy for viewers to identify themselves. It is amazing that we can create some really cool synergies because we spend so much time together. It is a great opportunity to get to know the contestants better. They are very close and it is easy to fall in love. It’s a party when one wins the pot.

Have you ever seen the original contest version?

The format remains the same in the end. Our personalities are what changes. There’s a lot laughter and jokes. Latin is more difficult for me to understand. The presenter changes too, of course. There is another way I present. We dance to the music in Spain.

His last television project was running (Marathon man), and now he’ll be standing still on a set.

-Now, I feel less tired. (laughs). After spending the past few years traveling the world in a shoe and running many marathons, I am now able to appreciate this. It was a wonderful stage to have lived as a ‘Maraton man’. “She has touched me” makes me very calm and I don’t need to run. That is a great thing for my knees. It is my first contest set presentation. He had previously done “Negotiate As You Can” in Cuatro. I feel very at ease. It was a wonderful experience and I run when the recording ends.

-In what other television contest would your preference be to take part?

-Pasapalabra is an amazing contest. I believe it will last as long this program or even Saber y Ganar. They placed us in the same place as ‘Pasapalabra. The good news is that we are going after “The Hunter”, which is currently enjoying its best moment on TV. You will be competing against Antena 3… This is a TVE commitment for the format. While we all know Pasapalabra is an exceptional program, the idea behind Pasapalabra is to match grill neighbors. Roberto Leal’s successes are mine, as we are good friends.

-And another format you’d like to present?

-I can even envision myself as a TVE news presenter (laughs). I love television and entertainment. I am open to new formats. I love challenges. It doesn’t matter what program it might be, it must have a positive vibe and a positive spirit. I love to tell stories.

Many viewers started to place a face on “Fall Who Falls”. Do you think he will return?

I had always wished to be able to wear the black suit and ask irreverent questions about any famous character. After ten years of television, I finally fulfilled that dream in the year Spain won the World Cup. The program changed everything and opened the door to more adventurous journalism. The formula was so amazing that other shows began to use it. Although I’m not sure if I’d see the return to “Whoever Falls”, I think it’d be a great show. Uncomfortable questions are always fun and would be good for television.
