It is ready the first drug specialized to treat the coronavirus Sars-CoV2. It is a monoclonal antibody, which specialises in the recognition of the protein that the virus uses to attack the human respiratory cells. The research is published on the site BioRxiv from the group of the Dutch University of Utrecht led by Chunyan Wang. The researchers told the Bbc that it will take months before the drug is available because it will have to be experimented with to get answers on efficacy and safety.
