however, the Problem is not only that there is a monitoring, but also the data that is downloaded on your phone.
Techcrunch can demonstrate that the firms in several cases have access to credit card numbers, passwords and other private data. And it is critical, even though the meaning of the monitoring officially just is to ‘make the apps better.
For once a screen dump from your phone is on a foreign server, you run the risk that employees of the company or the hackers may misuse your data.
None of the big companies are monitoring their users, want to explain, why they are not telling the users that downloaded screen shots from their phones.
But among other things, Air Canada and Glassbox stresses that they alone can monitor what you are doing in the individual apps. Everything else on your phone has not access to, the insurer.

Apple: It stops now
One can of course wonder, that there must be a medium and a story to, before Apple even notice that their users are being monitored.
But this is precisely what has happened, after the story appeared in Techcrunch. And now responds to Apple over the apps that make screenshots of user activities and monitors them without saying anything.
