The 14-year-old girl, who tragically died on Monday in a swimming pool, was konkurrencesvømmer in the Sigma Swim.
It was during a training session in Blovstrød Swimming pool, she was struck by an acute cardiac arrest, and her life was, unfortunately, not to save.
In a press release from the svømmeklubben stresses klubchef Billion Hyldahl, that there is not a drukneullykke.

‘Coaches, teammates, ambulance and rescuers did everything they could to revive her, but after the arrival to The trauma center, it was unfortunately clear that her life could not be saved,’ write Billion Hyldahl in the press release.
She also says that coaches, teammates and their parents immediately got psychological counselling, as well as to the mind of the club members go to the girl’s family in the difficult time.
Mia Hyldahl is klubchef in the Sigma Swim, and she knew the girl, who spent much time in svømmeklubben.
– She loved swimming. A really happy, young athletes, who had his whole life in the svømmeklubben. All of her best girlfriends and friends they were on her swimming and in svømmeklubben.
She was a happy person, who turned very much in our environment and in our community, and she will be missed very much by many, she says to Ekstra Bladet.
