Reply to folkhälsovetaren Dan Svensson, who in a letter to the editor on the DN View, believe that smoking should be completely banned outdoor (26 march):
Smoking shall therefore, be monitored in these times when you can’t even prevent firings and attacks against emergency responders.
I also want to remind you that we have neighborhoods where the police do not even dare to have a station. But then, a representative of the well-paid middle class with this proposal.
we are saving on our tax dollars with such laws and regulations. It is wrong to prohibit smoking on the terraces – everyone should get to decide for yourself.
some gripes over it ”smells bad” is not a reason to ban. They may well go in then.
