During February and march sent the Swedish Television three world championships in alpine skiing, cross-country skiing and biathlon. I recently saw medaljfördelningen for all the nations in these championships.
Admittedly, I know that Norway is a prominent skidnation, but I was surprised – almost shocked – over their superiority. Won a total of Norway in the three championships 38 medals. Sweden on their side, conquered only nine medals.
Sweden in the medals. The result is a proof of how badly the Swedish skiing feel. It is not enough! For future championships, Sweden must really step up.
the Swedish national team skaters must get a considerably better economic opportunities and conditions than today. We need to encourage more companies and sponsors to invest in the Swedish ski. Swedish skier should in the future easier to become prosperous millionaires in their sport.
