Motril is still betting on Playa Granada as an area with the highest potential for expansion. Today, it approves in plenary session the detailed analysis of 87 new homes. These will continue constructions on the plots 2, 3 & 4 of Building Number 4 of Poligono 3 Sector PL-3.
For the government team, it means continuing to wager on Playa Granada. This area is par excellence in expanding and which is undoubtedly the most preferred place to purchase a home by people who come to Motril to set up residence.
Luisa Garcia Chamorro stated that this approval is the first step towards a building license. It was mandatory to continue with the next steps so the new winning company can make this new housing phase a real reality.
A redefinition of the Mediterranean Architecture is proposed. It will maintain similar aesthetic conditions to Mediterranean architecture, but in an updated context for its own evolution and adapting to the Partial Plan.
The mayor of Motril, however, wanted to bring attention to another item on today’s agenda. This was the ICIO (Tax on Constructions, Installations and Works), bonus for solar panel installation in Luis Residence Pasor and Camino de las Ventillas Special Employment Center.
“We want support institutions that make Motril better, such as Aprosmo which conducts commendable social works and requested that these actions are considered works of special interests or municipal utility which we achieved after its complete approval,” the mayor of Motril said. He argued that, “in addition to the right conditions for it, from the government team we will always stand by associations like this one that help with education, care, and training in employment for persons with disabilities, giving them the opportunity to have better quality of their lives.”
