the Woman was found murdered and buried in a wooded area in Hökarängen in southern Stockholm in the end of may 2016. The suspicions were directed soon against the then-38-year-old man, that the woman was married, but he left the country and went to Iran.
In June 2018, could the man be brought to Sweden and he was charged for the murder in January of this year. He has consistently refused to commit the crimes.
the woman and the man, both afghan citizens, married in Iran in the summer of 2014. In the autumn of the following year she registered as an asylum seeker in Sweden, and stated that she was unaccompanied and 16 years old. In fact, she was a few years older.
the Man was already resident in the province of Småland, while she was placed at a residential worker-home in Hökarängen.
