“Sick children back in the school kitchen is closed”
“It is still unclear why seven fifth graders and one teacher urgently fell ill at a school on the island on Thursday. Suspicions of food poisoning has been lifted and Friday was the school special lunch boxes instead of the usual skollunchen.”
“– We got to solve it that way because the school’s kitchen closed for the police technical investigation, says Tapio Liimatainen, deputy commissioner of education on the island of Lidingö municipality.”
“the Police are investigating the incident as negligence for personal injury but have no suspect for the crime.”
“The eight fell ill, was taken to the Karolinska university hospital with symptoms such as headaches, nausea and avdomnande parts of the body, but all got to go home later in the day.”
“– In virtually all of the students who fell ill yesterday, was back in school today. It has been a very calm and good day. The teachers have told us that the younger children had come in and been a bit anxious this morning but after the collection had things calmed down, ” says Liimatainen.”
