This afternoon, a police support group conducted a raid in a residence in Enschede. The incident took place at a house on Wicher Nijkampstraat. Officers had been present at the location since this morning following a report of a confused individual in the residence. Shortly before one o’clock, the support group entered the house with a battering ram and a chainsaw. The individual in question was handed over to ambulance personnel who took him away.
A delivery van that was stuck on a car transporter broke loose and hit the driver’s cabin. Both vehicles were damaged as a result. The incident occurred at the end of the morning on IJsselallee in Zwolle. A second car transporter is now on the scene to remove the delivery van. Traffic on IJsselallee towards Wijhe is experiencing delays due to the incident.
A scooter rider was injured in a collision with a delivery van at the intersection of Bornsestraat and Demmersweg in Hengelo. The scooter rider was taken away in an ambulance that was waiting at the traffic lights at the intersection at the time of the accident. Reportedly, the driver of the delivery van was not injured. Both the scooter and the delivery van sustained significant damage.

In the early morning, an accident occurred on the industrial estate in Nijverdal. At the intersection of Van den Bergsweg and Industrieweg, a driver failed to yield to a car approaching from the right, resulting in a collision. The occupants are reportedly unharmed. Both vehicles suffered significant damage and had to be towed.
