The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, has announced this Thursday the members of her new Government, which she will renew in full, made up of three women and six men.

In her last intervention in the second session of the investiture plenary session that will once again make her president of the Community of Madrid, Ayuso has announced the new structure and the names of her Executive, which will maintain nine ministries but will reduce deputy ministries and general directorates to be “the most austere government in Spain”.

After confirming that the nine councilors of his Government would not continue, Ayuso explained that this “essential change” of his Executive is not carried out “due to a lack of confidence or things that have not been done well”, since “the work carried out have brought us an absolute majority is worthy of recognition”, but because “renewal gives strength.

The former Vice President of the Assembly Jorge Rodrigo will be the new Minister of Transport, Housing and Infrastructures; and the director of the Madrid 112 Security and Emergency Agency, Carlos Novillo, will direct the Environment, Land and Interior Planning.

Miguel Ángel García will be the new Minister of the Presidency, Justice and Local Administration; Rocío Albert will be Minister of Economy, Finance and Employment, and Emilio Viciana will be in charge of Education and Universities.

Ána Dávila will be the new Minister of Family, Youth and Social Affairs; Miguel López Valverde will be Minister of Digitalization, Fátima Matute will direct the Ministry of Health, and Mariano de Paco will be in charge of Culture, Tourism and Sports.
