The Spanish economy slowed its quarterly growth by two points between January and March, down to 0.2%, one tenth less than expected, due to the slowdown in household consumption. It subtracts one tenth from the preliminary data advanced in April (0.3%) and is 2 points lower than the rise in GDP in the previous quarter (2.2%). The year-on-year GDP rises to 6.3% compared to the same quarter of 2021, although it is also one tenth below the data advanced in April.
