Solidair Groningen presents its first Impact Annual Report

Solidair Groningen & Drenthe will be presenting and handing over its Impact Annual Report on Friday, June 21. The report will be presented to Bishop Ron van den Hout of the Groningen-Leeuwarden diocese and Evert van Dijk, editor-in-chief of the Dagblad van het Noorden newspaper. The presentation will take place at half past four in the afternoon at the Bisdomhuis on Ubbo Emmiussingel 79 in Groningen.

This is the first time that Solidair Groningen & Drenthe is presenting an Impact Annual Report in order to showcase the actual effects of its projects. The organization has collaborated with Alexander Impact to ensure proper registration and data processing to demonstrate the impact of its social activation projects.

The Impact Annual Report highlights the diversity of activities and target groups of Solidair, including projects focused on identifying hidden poverty, supporting integration for newcomers, engaging churches in sustainability, and other social activation work. The main goal is to assist people on their journey and make them a little happier.

Solidair’s projects have been established in partnership with various organizations spread across the provinces of Groningen and Drenthe. The report includes detailed stories and experiences from participants in some of the projects, as well as the outcomes achieved by all projects. Following the official presentation on June 21, the Impact Annual Report will be available for viewing on the organization’s website www.solidairgroningendrenthe.nl.

Additionally, the annual report provides insight into the history and development of Solidair since 1957, as well as information about the current organization. The projects are carried out by 10 employees working alongside more than 100 volunteers and interns, making a significant impact on hundreds of people in the northern region. Solidair Groningen & Drenthe is based in Assen.
