“Telefónica is a strategic company for our country and, as such, it has the management of the most important thing in our lives, which is data, not only is it the oil of the 21st century, it is that everything lies in it,” he said. insisted the also acting Minister of Labor.
In his opinion, “this operation cannot be allowed to continue” and this has been communicated to Calviño.
Díaz traveled this Friday to the Italian capital from Brussels to meet with some workers’ organizations and with the mayor of the capital, Roberto Gualtieri, with whom he participated in the presentation of the book “Per una construzione della terra” (For a construction of the earth), by the Italian philosopher Luigi Ferrajoli.
The second vice-president has also stressed that “Spain has a lot to do in industrial matters” and has assured that “it will improve in strategic sectors”.
He added that all countries have rules for the country’s strategic affairs and that Spain also has to think about what its strategic sectors are, who can be part of the boards of directors of those strategic sectors and what the limits are.
