SMHI has, as of Sunday morning, issued a class 2 warning for almost the whole of northern and central Norrland on the basis of a north-westerly storm.

Previously, the warning, the only mountain range in Jämtland, Västerbotten and Norrbotten counties, but now includes also the hinterland and the New england coast.

the Grade 2 alert for the storm means that it is very difficult to walk upright and visibility is non-existent when there is loose snow. It is then dangerous to be on the mountain.
