“We use sterilized tilapia skins for the burns to heal,” explains Peyton. “Tilapia skins can collagen, a protein with healing powers, bring on the burnt skin. The tilapiahuiden also ensure that there is less of connection must be changed, something that can be very painful for the animals.”
