Formula 1 The first training session for the Grand prix of Azerbaijan, the fourth round in the world CHAMPIONSHIP Formula 1, is on a damp squib turned out. About ten minutes after the start, rode the Brit George Russell with his Williams over a loose manhole cover. It hit his car heavily damaged.
The debris flew around on the street circuit of Baku. Baanpersoneel swept with brooms, however quickly the job clean, but the manhole cover was a bigger problem. That was not fixed in the pavement, and was apparently due to the high speed of the passing Williams up sucked. It was decided the session permanently stop.
