According to information from RMC Sport, Jean-François Vilotte will be appointed new general manager of the French Football Federation. He succeeds Florence Hardouin, who was laid off last February.

Jean-François Vilotte, former CEO of the French Tennis Federation, is currently an arbitrator at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (TAS). The lawyer was the favorite of the last candidates vying for the post. Charline Avenel, rector of the academy of Versailles and from the same promotion at the ENA as Emmanuel Macron and Erwan Le Prévost, director of institutional relations of the FFF have therefore been preceded.

The profiles of François Morinière, former CEO of the L’Equipe group, Vincent Ponsot, director of football for Olympique Lyonnais and Najat Vallaud-Belkacem, former Minister of Women’s Rights, the City, Youth and Sports under François Holland (May 2012-August 2014) were also studied but discarded prematurely.
