A brave climber when the percentage of the slopes of the Tour de France got tougher in the 80s, Charly Mottet continues to trace his route on the Tour de France but as an ambassador of the Orange brand at the wheel of a follower car.
The former yellow jersey of the Grande Boucle in 1987 for six days, the year in which Stephen Roche was crowned, but also triple stage winner, Charles Mottet of his real name finished twice at the foot of the podium (in 1987 and 1991) in Paris. He gave us some of his time to answer our quirky questionnaire via smartphone on the Tour de France.
