Two Russian planes with soldiers and goods are landed at the airport of the Venezuelan capital, Caracas. Board report 99 Russian soldiers and 35 tons of Material, according to a media.

The machines were flown “in the framework of technical and military cooperation” between the two countries to Venezuela, reported the Russian news Agency Sputnik on Sunday. Journalists from the AFP news Agency saw one of the planes, which was guarded at the capital airport of the Venezuelan security forces. On request, neither the Venezuelan authorities, nor the Russian Embassy wanted to speak in Caracas.

Russia had its military cooperation with the oil South American country years ago expanded. In the current power struggle in Venezuela, Moscow is behind the controversial head of state, Nicolás Maduro.
